The track has made history by becoming the first song ever to spend an entire year at the top of the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart.

The announcement was made by the American data collection company ‘Chart Data’ on Monday, August 28, 2023.

Having dominated the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs list for 52 consecutive weeks, ‘Calm Down’ has secured its place in history.

Upon the introduction of the MENA Chart by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) on November 29, 2022, ‘Calm Down’ debuted at the No. 1 spot.

Furthermore, ‘Calm Down’ has also achieved the distinction of being the first song to reach No. 1 on The Official MENA Chart, the world’s first regional streaming chart, and has been officially recognized by the Guinness World Records.
