Where does Eric Clapton live?

Eric Patrick Clapton is an English Guitarist born in Surrey, England, to Patricia Molly Clapton, a 16-year-old unmarried girl, and Edward Walter Fryer, a Canadian soldier who served during World War II.

Eric was raised by Patricia’s parents after his father returned to his wife in Canada after his birth. Regardless of the fact that they never formally adopted him, they remained his legal parents till 1963.

Hollyfield School in Surbiton was where he obtained his early training initially. He earned a degree at the Kingston College of Art.

Unfortunately, the university administration dismissed him due to his lack of enthusiasm for painting. He grew intrigued by blues around this period.

Before launching on a solo project, Clapton established the music trio “Cream” as well as “Blind Faith” in the 1960s.
